• South Pacific Timber allows you to enjoy the timeless quality and character of natural solid timber flooring at far less cost than ever before. Every piece of our classic or modern timber flooring is machined with the care and precision of our experienced machinists at the Mt Roskill machine shop.
• Our standard Tongue and Groove or Richwood Endmatched profiled timber slots together smoothly, giving you a true timber floor which only needs to be glued and/or secret nailed. The varying length specs of our timber means that it creates an interesting tapestry of joins. We can work with a variety of products including akwa >> beech >> kwila >> matai >> rimu >> rosewood >> saligna >> tallowood >> vic ash and vitex.
• Weatherboards - Our range of Radiata weatherboards is vast, from standard bevel back to rusticated, square dressed to various shiplap profiles, and are primed or unprimed, some are with a band sawn finish, (BSF).
• Mouldings - We specialise in providing finishing lines to meet nearly any requirement. From our beautiful Colonial Mouldings, where we carry most profiles used in New Zealand villas and bungalows, to our standard mouldings such as quads, bevelled architraves and skirtings, and square dressed timbers. Nearly all mouldings are carried in Rimu and Pine, with exterior architraves H3 LOSP treated. Pine mouldings are run from either a #1 Clears grade or a #1 Finger Joint grade.

We also have the ability to produce special runs of virtually any profile should your particular moulding not match any of our stock profiles.

Handrails - All handrails are run from a clear grade of Radiata Pine or Rimu, or Finger-Jointed Radiata, some profiles are carried in H3.

Decking - South Pacific Timber can provide timber decking to suit most applications. We can provide square dressed decking, wide and narrow, and also tongue and groove decking, in both pine and hardwood. One of our specialties is the Vitex decking, which is marketed directly against kwila. Vitex is a much more environmentally friendly option when considering a hardwood deck, and comes from sustainable yield forests in the Solomon Islands. Vitex does not leach the same brown sap stain which kwila does, and does not stain plaster and concrete. Vitex silvers up to the same grey colour upon weathering, and is a very durable and strong timber. We can also supply Vitex in larger sizes for pergola beams, bench seats, edgings or whatever you may imagine. We also supply H3 pine and Vitex exterior tongue and groove decking suitable for verandah decking in villas, bungalows or modern homes.
